Abstract
Abstract
Multidimensional musical development is based on activities that significantly influence instrumental proficiency and musical intuition arising from the ability to perceive interdisciplinary parallels, improvement of improvisation, and extensive chamber music practice. Knowledge, imagination, and highly developed interpersonal skills seem to be the key determinant of musicians’ well-being, especially pianists whose artistic work is often divided between solo and chamber music performance. This study investigates the challenges and benefits of chamber music practice on the example of modern pieces for accordion and piano, concluding that sustainable development brings the most efficient outcome.
Keywords: piano performance, multidimensional musical development, psychosocial aspects of chamber music – well-being of a professional musician, auditory streaming, chamber music for accordion and piano
