During the Sunday Musical Morning, we will move into the world of French Impressionist music thanks to pianist Małgorzata Anna Mokrus. We will hear works by Debussy, Ravel, and other composers.

The Podkarpacka Foundation for the Development of Culture and the INTERPIANO Galeria o smaku kawy are delighted to invite you to a unique artistic event inaugurating the new season at our Gallery. On the 30th of August at 5:00 PM, we will host the opening of a painting exhibition by Małgorzata Anna Mokrus, accompanied by a piano recital performed by the artist.

A concert by Małgorzata Anna Mokrus titled ‘Ut pictura musica… Ut musica poesis’ – ‘As painting is music… as music is poetry’. The program will include works by Fryderyk Chopin, Claude Debussy, Frederic Mompou, and Zygmunt Stojowski.

For the twenty-first time, Sanok will become the Winter Capital of Piano Music – a venue for intensive artistic and educational dialogue, bringing together outstanding pianists, academic educators, and young disciples of the art of piano from 15 countries around the world.

Małgorzata Mokrus, winner of the prestigious Golden Parnassus award, belongs to the group of the most promising pianists of the young generation. Her artistic sensitivity, interpretative maturity, and stage presence ensure that each of her performances attracts attention and remains in the listeners’ memories.

This beautiful evening was, to a large extent, dedicated to George Gershwin […] The concert was combined with an exhibition of works by Małgorzata Anna Mokrus, who spoke about her passion at the conclusion of the event.

The upcoming concert in the Chopin online series will feature the pianist, researcher, and painter Małgorzata Anna Mokrus, performing works by Chopin, Debussy, Messiaen, and Rachmaninoff.
